Avatar No. There is no connection between the Warwick and the Lancaster. Different company, different design team, different construction method, single vs twin fin and rudder, different power plants, different evolution.
The Lancaster evolved from the under performing Manchester which had two engines vs the Lancaster's four.
Hope this clears it up.

Avatar Haaang on... Was the Lancaster's real name Warwick? Never heard that o.o Because I know that the Wellington is basically a small lancaster.
